Advisor Brad Vander Hamm
Brad Vander Hamm is married to Dianne and has three married children and three grandchildren. He grew up in Lodi, attending St. Peter’s Lutheran School, Lodi High School and graduated from Concordia University in Seward Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science in Education. As an educator, he has been a teacher in elementary, junior high and high school, along with serving as a principal. He started Zion Middle School in Lodi in 1996 and retired from teaching in 1999. He was the Executive Director of Sonshine Ministries for 25 years, retiring in 2004. He was the Executive Director of the One-Eighty Teen Center in Lodi from 2002 until 2005. He has returned to the world of Education, currently teaching a class for Lodi Unified School District called “Careers In Education” which is an ROP class for junior and seniors in high school. Working with students at all levels is challenging, yet very rewarding. He has been an advisor on the Youth Commission since 2003.
