celebrating two years!

Celebrating Two YearsIt's hard for me to believe that Applied Office is now two years old.  It seems like just yesterday I ventured into sole-proprietorship to start a business that would help others learn about using their computers.  Little did I know that I would be learning so much, too.

Continuing last year's tradition of "the year in numbers", I invite you to learn more about what Applied Office has accomplished in its last twelve months, and a glimpse of where it might be headed.

Looking out the window, Spring is undoubtedly here.  To help you get your work done faster so that you can run out and enjoy the beautiful weather, here are this month's tips for using Microsoft Office:

  • Outlook: Want to take your calendar with you on that stuff called paper?  It's easy!  Read!
  • Word: Are you finding that your memos and letters are a little too wordy?  Find out how to use the Readability Statistics feature build right into Word, and measure your verbosity!  Read!
  • Excel: Making sense of a lot of data, especially when its an export from a billing system or other lengthy database, can be a huge task.  This article explains how to use pivot tables in just a a few easy steps.  Read!
